Description
Upping the comfort level, Børge Mogensen’s perfectly proportioned bench with a fixed backrest gets a loose seat cushion in a selection of durably handsome textiles. Crafted in Denmark of solid, dark-oiled FSC-certified eucalyptus, Asserbo has gently rounded edges and visible brushed brass screws. Now reissued by Carl Hansen & Søn, the designer’s circa-1960 collection reflects both his Danish Modern style and a Shaker sense of simplicity, as seen in the companion dining table (also at A+R).
