Description
This antique African Bamileke stool, originally use as a throne is hand carved from a single wood log with a waxed finish. This African stool source from Cameroon has long been used as ceremonial seating to indicate the status and power of tribal chiefs and kings, with the status of the owner or the tribe represented in the particular design. This antique African stool features lizard carved apron all around with human faces across the top and old oxidized finish.
