F300 Lounge Chair

Description

Pierre Paulin drew the F300 in 1967 — a sweeping, low-slung shell with no flat surface anywhere on it, supported by a cross frame that gives the geometry its tension. The reissue is made in Italy from HiREK®, an engineered polymer drawn from up to 30% industrial plastic waste, injection-molded in three components — seat, front leg, back leg — then hand-finished. The material delivers Paulin’s intended high-gloss surface straight from the mold, no secondary coating, and holds up to UV, weather, and weight. Fixed seat and back cushions sit inside the shell, upholstered using a thermoforming technique borrowed from automotive interiors.
