With Bell Table Lamp, designer Tom Dixon seems to be pushing the reductionist’s credo “Less is More” to the limit. The form sets one hyper-classic dome atop another, the unmarred and polished surface cleanly reflecting all its surroundings. Fitted with an integrated dimmer and set on a weighted base for added stability, the lamp is a certain cynosure of any decor—in a choice of gleaming brass, copper or chrome finishes.
