Description

From a master of Italian postwar design, Carlo De Carli’s 1954 sofa hews to the minimalist style of the era interpreted with his uniquely graceful exuberance. CDC.2 alights on slender turned-wood legs, its arms swooping like wings for a welcoming and comfortable character. An early disciple of legendary architect and designer Gio Ponti, young Carlo’s fluency was more than evident when he set out on his own and made his mark with dynamic and timeless pieces like the CDC series.
