CH23 Dining Chair with Cushion

Description

An early example of Hans J. Wegner’s timeless style and sense of craftsmanship, this dining chair was one of his initial pieces debuting in 1950 for Carl Hansen & Søn. Sans armrests, CH23 is practical for fitting around the table, even in smaller confines. Made of solid oak or walnut, or a combination of these, it has a form-pressed veneer backrest and comes in a variety of finishes. Along with the characteristic double-woven paper cord seat in natural or black, an optional leather cushion is also offered.
