Moooi co-founder Marcel Wanders literally upends an icon with his signature seating piece Charleston. The traditional leather-covered sofa shape is emphatically poised on its side on a metal swivel stand so it points almost vertically upwards. With that unexpected turn, the armrest becomes a comfortable perch for 1 or 2 people sitting on the inner edge of the lower arm and using the seat cushion as a backrest.
