A wire brush is first used to distress the wood by hand before applying a polyurethane finish that is designed to resist naturally occurring wood finish changes from the outdoor elements. Washed Ever Teak finish may fade and wear over time, and as the finish deteriorates, the natural teak underneath will become visible and gradually turn grey.
